Cannot Locate File to Change Text for 'Access Denied' (5 posts)

The wording was changed on this page for users who have not registered or logged into the site and I cannot seem to find where this text was edited. It's essentially the 'access denied' message. Can please anyone help? I'm using wordpress version 3.3.2 with weaver theme if that helps.

Also, while we're on this topic I seem to find myself in this predicament every so often and was wondering if anyone might have any tips on finding the right PHP files or particular snippets of code without having to document every change you've made?

    Thanks so much!

Is there a reason that you are using such an outdated version of WP - that's a major security risk?

Oh, it's partially because the person who owns the site hired someone to work on a custom plugin over a year ago and, believe it or not, it was just completed a few weeks ago - we were afraid to touch anything until they were done with it and now just have to make sure with them that the work they did won't be compromised before we update.

also the site does not really have a dedicated person to manage it yet.

Well, it will be a much bigger problem if the site gets hacked :). Are they aware of all the massive attacks on WP servers recentlyhttp://wordpress.org/support/topic/brute-force-attacks-and-wordpress?replies=2? They really should get that updated ASAP - as well as the theme.

As to your question, that looks like text from a post - but if you can't find it, you'll probably get better help from the Weaver forums here: http://weavertheme.com/

Hi WPyogi. yes, it's not a page or a post - as that page id is designated to a different page. looks like that message comes up when someone tries to access a restricted area and they are not a registered user. but thanks for your concern and your reminders about the wordpress versions.
