• I’ve had wordpress running for quite a while now (upgraded to 2.1 a week or so ago). I tried to activate a new theme tonight and I get this error:

Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: custom_image_header in /-/blog/wp-includes/theme.php on line 576

I can’t do anything in the admin area.

Also, the public index gave an error for a delicious plugin I was using (worked fine until now) — I renamed the plugin directory until I can get the admin issue resolved and deactivate it to see what it’s problem is. S

    Suggestions, anyone? Thanks 🙂

    UPDATE:
Things seem to be working now.
What I did: Changed the theme to the default WP theme (wp_options table, option_id #’s 48 and 49)
This magically allowed the admin area to start working again.
Activated the old theme that was working (not the new one that seems to have caused the error).
Turned the delicious plugin back on

All is well in wordpressville…for now.

The theme was “PlainBox” — it came from a very reliable website…unsure of what happened. I’m going to try to reactive it and see if this happens again.
