kanandI am so confused about installing and downloading wordpress. I do not know many of the terms used on the website as well. All of your comments will be very appreciated!
My Goal: I really want to open a new (free) wordpress website that I can add other plugins later.
My Work: First, I downloaded the BitNami WordPress installer after I read the "Easy_5_Minute_WordPress_Installation_on_Windows" section.
I had some problem with the port number (80) but then it worked when I closed some computer programs.
Then I downloaded wordpress (3.3) and I opened the Manager Tool of the BitNami WordPress Stack. But, nothing happened. I unzipped the file and tried to look for a manager-windows file which I read somewhere that it should open.
Please explain how can I finally get to my website. Thank you so much.
