   I have a weird problem on WP 3.1.3 French that really needs fixing.

   Writing a post with the visual editor works fine. Uploading an image using WP's uploader to insert into a post works fine. However, once you go into the gallery to click the "Insert into Post" button for the image, the page goes white. This happens on Firefox on Windows and Mac.

   The catch is, inserting the image works only on IE in Windows. The bloggers using the WP install only have Macs and can't use IE though, so this is not a viable workaround.

   I have tried disabling all plugins and reuploading the media-upload.php file, to no avail.

   Help!

   Forgot to mention it doesn't work in Safari for Mac either.

   Have you tried:

   - switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

   - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

   Resetting the plugin folder allowed it to work! The problem was coming from either NextGEN Gallery or Secure WordPress, both of whom require a version of PHP that is higher than the one my server has. Without these two installed, Insert into Post works smoothly as intended.
