Cannot import my XML file (too large)

    I am trying to import my WordPress XML file, but I’m getting the “file size too large” error. (My file is 2.3 MB, the file max shows at 2 MB.)

    I had this problem with another blog I was trying to transfer a while back, but the day after I had the issue, somehow the max file size was upped to 8 MB.

    I contacted my web host to see if they had anything to do with the file size, but they said that the limit is imposed by WordPress. They had me modify the php.ini file, but even changing the max upload limit there did not change the wordpress limit.

    Sooooooooo…. any idea on how I can get this file size changed like what happened with my previous wordpress blog?
