Hello all. I am in bit of a bind and need your help as soon as possible.

I went into the Options and then to the General tab. Once there, there are two fields that I changed.

The WordPress address (URI) used to be default which was http://www.mysitename.com/wordpress and the Blog address (URI) was also at default of http://www.mysitename.com/wordpress.

However, not knowing the consequences, I changed both of those fields to http://www.mysitename.com/wordpress/index.php.

What happens now is that every time I try to log into admin side of WordPress I am then automatically redirected to index.php. Also the blog has lost all its CSS styles because I changed the path. I am now stuck without being able to make any changes and worst of all cannot change the URI path’s back to default because of the redirection.

Please help. Thank you in advance!

    Head there, and take the

    /index.php

OFF both the siteurl and home value. All will then be good.

(You might not have a 'home' value - but look on each page there).
