[resolved] Cannot find single page (4 posts)

Hello. I have installed a ready-made theme and have just notice it doesn't contain a single.php file. Tried clicking one of my posts on the homepage and got a 404 - presumably because there isn't a page for it.

I tried supplementing another single.php which I figured I would just customize, but that didn't work either. When I wrote my posts, I clicked checked out the preview and it looked OK so I guess there must be a page somewhere.

Anyone have any idea what I should do? (I'm a total newb as you may have guessed.)

    Many thanks.

    Fool!

The site is http://www.jonpashley.co.uk and WordPress is installed in my root folder.

    Thanks,

    Jon

See if updating your permalinks solves the problem. Administration > Settings > Permalinks

    Resources:
    Template Hierarchy
    Peramlinks

    Updating permalinks sorted it.

    Thanks very much.
