Normally there is a setting button and you’re redirected as well. The settings are under permalinks, at the bottom. Are you sure the plugin is active?

Thank you for answering.
Yes the plugin is active. Under the permalinks tab, there is nothing, except under the ‘save” button there is a box displaying the contents of the htaccess file. But no button or anything indicating the presence of Rename wp-login.

What other plugins do you have installed? This plugin doesn’t display the contents of the htaccess file.

Problem solved! I upgraded to the latest version of wordpress and the plugin now appears under Permalinks.

Ah, you weren’t running 3.8? That’s weird, there should be a notice that says the plugin doesn’t work for versions lower than that.
