Cannot find a plugin to auto-approve comments of specific users or roles

Greetings. Can anyone please direct me to a plugin which will auto-approve comments of specific users or roles even when the blog is set to moderate all comments? I think that this should be a default feature in WordPress as all blogs have trusted users. The Comments Whitelist plugin does not work. Thanks in advance.
