I’m using the StageShow basic plugin to evaluate if my organization should purchase and use StageShow+ for ticketing. We’re using the sample data to test functionality but run into the following error when we try to use the Export function under the Tools page:

Fatal error: Class name must be a valid object or a string in /sitename/public_html/wp-content/plugins/stageshow/admin/stageshow_export.php on line 34

I haven’t run into this error on the StageShow demo site. I’ve also tried disabling every other plugin but this one to see if there was a conflict but I get the same error. Thoughts?

Thanks for the bug report Alex, and (wisely) for checking for plugin interactions before you reported it.

There is a problem with the StageShow export, which is limited to the basic version. Most of my testing is done on the StageShowGold version, which is how I missed it (a reason but not an excuse). The Demo versions use heavily modified code which allows me to run all three on one WordPress installation, which is why the problem is not evident there.

I’ve reproduced the problem, and an updated version with a fix will be available very shortly.
    Thanks Again.
