Anybody else having problems editing widgets, permalinks and posts in 3.5?

  2. Do you have a problem we can assist you with...?

This is a support forum and sadly very few people post to say things like "My installation is working great!" That would be cool but it doesn't happen often. ;)

Give the 3.5 Master List a look.

    Particularly the section regarding javascript.

Since I upgraded to 3.5, I am getting this error message :Missing argument 2 for wpdb::prepare(), wp-content/plugins/wp-super-edit/wp-super-edit.core.class.php on line 114

So far I cannot edit my sidebar widgets or change my permalinks when I am writing a post. I have tried to upgrade WP Super Edit and tried to find a plugin to replace it. Is there a plugin to replace super edit that I can use?

I thought this was a theme related problem and tried to change themes but that did not solve the problem.

I also cannot edit sidebar widgets in 3.5.

The primary & sectionary widget pull-downs are no longer clickable, nor movable.

@studiokristen and @bandberr - if you need help, please post your own thread. We cannot help multiple people in the same thread.

And start by reviewing the steps in the thread linked above by Jan.

Here is the latest on my situation. I have changed themes, restored my site from backup, disabled all of my plugins and I still cannot edit permalinks or widgets. All javascript related functions are still down. What is next?

Delete my site and start over?

Try adding define('SCRIPT_DEBUG', true);to the bottom of your wp-config.php file (just before the require_once line).
