Cannot edit permalink after making article spelling error,

    This seems like a permissions issue, but not sure.

    I made a post error by misspelling the title of the article, and while still in the editor there is the option of changing that in the permlink.

    Mine wont save the changes,

    Ok, it looks like after making the change while editing, you must then save the whole post.

    Seems a little weird to save twice, but thats how it is.
