I’ve been told that when I click on a gallery or image I should see a white pencil to edit the image or gallery…but I see nothing. If I click on an image, it just highlights the entire image, no pencil. If I click on a gallery…which, incidentally, now are no longer horizontal on the backend…it takes every image and makes them one big long vertical column, which is going to be a pain when I have a big gallery! Having to scroll down to see them all, since it only has 1 per row.) I get nothing when with the gallery except a highlighted line that says, for example: [gallery link="file" ids="3361,3359,3358,3357,3356,366"]

So I can no longer add images to my client’s galleries.

    Help?

It sounds like it may be a theme related issue. only reason I think this is the use of editor-style may not be fully supported by the theme.
Have you tried switching themes to eliminate that factor? If that doesn’t help then it may be a plugin issue. In that case you will have to deactivate each one until you find which one is causing you trouble.

Ugh, you’re right…it was the theme. I just hope they update the theme soon…because it’s a client’s theme and I didn’t set it up and don’t want to have to switch to a new theme.

    Thanks!

    Of course!

You can always go to Media > Library and then edit the image/attachments that way but it can be tiresome with a lot of photos.

You may want to consider looking into the media grid plugin. Pretty neat!
