Hi there. I was using wp version 3.3.2. Everything was going smoothly and I could drag and drop widgets as I pleased.
Then all of a sudden I could no longer drag and drop widgets, I could no longer delete them, and I could no longer edit them in the little pop-up window like before. Now when I click 'edit' on a widget, it takes me to a new window, with some choices and also the message:
Catchable fatal error: Object of class stdClass could not be converted to string in /home/lauras/public_html/wp-includes/general-template.php on line 2274
I have done lots of reading on these forums and around the web, and all recommendations are to deactivate widgets, and also to update to the latest version of wp. I have done both of these things, and nothing seems to change. I'm now using version 3.4.
I'm using the theme duotive 3.
My site is http://www.lauradraws.com, and the trouble began on http://www.lauradraws.com/blog, when I added the blogroll widget. I want to get rid of it so badly!
This is really important, I need this blog to go online very soon to coincide with a big art show that is important to my business. I've done all the fixes that I can possibly find, and I'm at my wits end! Please help me!
Many thanks in advance.
