   I cannot find anywhere in the body to change the font or font colour. Would someone mind having a look for me please? I can add the html if I know what to add and where to put it. Same for the sidebar widgets text.

   you will probably need to edit or add some styles in style.css of your theme.

   please use a tool such as Firefox' add-on Firebug http://getfirebug.com/ to identify the involved css selectors.

   it not the scope of this WordPress forum to deal with basic formatting issues.
