Hello All,
For some reason I cannot change the admin or profile email address. After entering a new email address wordpress says that a confirmation email has been sent to the new address however it never gets there. I have added new email accounts to my server in case one of the email address were already being used but still a no go.
Is there possibly something my host needs to do in order to enable the change of emails?
Thanks!!

Hi Richard,
before I edit any files I should say that issue is on a subdomain of my WP Multisite installation. I don't know if that makes any difference.
Should I continue with your suggestion?
Thanks!

I don't believe that the link you provided has anything to do with what I am talking about. In the past I never had to edit any files to get the email to work correctly and I don't think that WP would have made it so that you need to remember to change the code every time you upgrade.
Does anyone else have a suggestion that has to do with the server/host side?

OK,
So I was able to figure out why I could not change the default email address under setting or in the user profile. This was also affecting the contact forms located on all of the subsites.
What I had to do was go into cpanel under "MX Entry Maintenance" and then make sure that under Email Routing that "Remote Mail Exchanger" is selected. That was it :)
