    Hi,

I am using the most awesome theme Aurora, I have a page with a table of two columns in the left I have the image in the right I have a paragraph of text. In the page editor it appears aligned but when I visit the web page it is out of sync, the ext appears at a lower level than the image.

Has anyone got a clue how to solve this please I am new to themes so I am clueless to why it is doing this?

This has been fixed in V2.0.1, currently pending review.

I am using WP version 2.7.1 and am having trouble aligning images.

I also am having trouble bolding, italicizing, etc text. It appears bold, and images appear aligned in the post editor boxes, but then they aren't after the post is submitted.

Is this just a compatibility issue? And if so, will it be fixed?

Any help available out there? This theme is the perfect theme for me and I don't really want to change it, but if I can't perform basics like aligning text, then I'm hamstrung by what I can actually write!

Can I get a link to your site? I'll take a look at it in Firebug and see if I can help.

Sure, my site can be found here:

    http://www.enemyairships.com/

One article in particular from March 16th should have the image centre aligned. On a previous article, text centring worked.

... how bizarre, it has all just started working perfectly. I guess something, somewhere was altered? I can now align text and images, so I guess this has been resolved. Thanks for the offer anyway!

EDIT: Bold and italic texts are still not working.

Can you give me a specific example of the bold and italics not working. How about posting a permalink and describing to me where the bold text should be?

    Certainly,

    http://www.enemyairships.com/?p=36

In this article, the Artist, Album and Genre words directly under the picture are supposed to be in Bold text. Every reference to Akira within the article is supposed to be in Italics.

When I look at the post in the edit post layout they appear correctly (either bold or italicised), but in the published article, the text is uniform.

    Thanks for looking into this.

Still having trouble with the inability to italicize or bold text in articles. Now with the added frustration that my sidebar has disappeared to the bottom of the page instead of being at the side of the layout.

I don't think I touched anything in the php!

I'm not an expert, but I think that the bold and italics properties may need to be defined in the stylesheet.

I've been using this template for months and really like it, but am probably going to be looking for something else. Although I really like the color scheme and the overall look of the template, I'm finding limitations with it.

Aside from the two issues you posted about, I cannot get threaded comments to work. Another really unusual behavior is that sometimes comments will appear in different colors all down the page.

The author's website says that this and other templates are undergoing 2.7 compatibility checks, but it's been that way for months. It's a great template, especially considering he offers it for free, but I think I may try something else pretty soon.

    Here's what I did with it: http://huntsmanslodge.com

I've written a fair few articles now and although it seems like an exercise in futility, I'm bolding and underlining the text I want to look that way, even though I know it wont work!

If there's anyone out there who can help a complete newbie with this problem, I'd be very grateful!

Please try the latest version of the theme; now available via the theme directory. This should fix your problem.

    Hello,

Could you please help me? I'm having the same problem as enemyairships and Crazybadger had: I'm trying to publish both text and images horizontaly aligned one to each other. In the page editor it works perfect, but on the web page they apear one below the other.

After a few tries, I've discovered that if I put the picture aligned on the left side of the text, it works ok. But if I'm trying to put the picture on the right side, the text is pushed below the picture.

I'm just upgrading by blog from the wordpress platform to my personal domain, and I can't solve this problem. :(

Here's my permanent link: http://www.jocurban.ro , if anyone can help me on this matter.
