Cannot Add new posts

    In my wordpress site while I am trying to publish/save/update posts it is showing into a 404 page found.. Please help me to trouble shoot.. Thanks in advance

    Hi lijinsjoseph,

    Are you only experiencing the 404’s on the post/page-editing screens?

    If you’re getting 404 errors while in the Dashboard, it’s possible something has gone wonky with your wp-admin files. I’d suggest downloading a fresh copy of WordPress (assuming you’re on the latest version of WordPress, 3.4.2) and re-uploading the wp-admin folder.

    I am in 3.2 version.. I am getting error only on post/page-editing screens.

    No error on dashboard

    I am in 3.2 version.

    I’d still recommend downloading a fresh copy of the wp-admin folder. You can find your version on this page to download. Just a friendly reminder, by the way, that you should really be running the latest version whenever possible. It’s the easiest way to make sure your site stays secure 🙂
