Cannot add new page

    Hello;
    I have recently started using WP, and am quite impressed with it. However, I’m having a few problems.

    After a brief stint with not being able to access my admin area (which appeared to be due to needing to upgrade to PHP 5), I can no longer add a new page to the site. I can put everything together, but when I click post or preview, in an effort to go there, I simply get a 404 not found error.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Site url? Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?

    – resetting any custom permalinks to the default setting?
