I just updated my wordpress to version 2.7.1 and now I cannot update any theme from my collection of about 6 themes. I even tried the theme that came with wordpress but it is not updating.... When I click on any theme, nothing happens. I click 100 times and still nothing happens. What the heck is going on here? All themes are updated and compatible with latest version, so that's not a problem.

Someone please help me as soon as possible. My blog at http://www.addictivetips.com is running on a classic theme and I cannot set a new theme. The problem arises when I click on any theme and nothing happens, I cannot even see the preview window, let alone activating it.

Waiting for some expert to help me out.

And I forgot to mention that I have latest version of Flash Player, so it's not an issue too. When I upgraded to 2.7.1 from 2.7, it went smoothly too, so it's not a problem too.

What could it be? please HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't see the classic theme so it looks like you've solved the problem?

I have the same problem too!

    I´ve looked at several posts:

    http://wordpress.org/support/topic/235300

and some more... but my problem is exactly what ghaus mentioned. I click the image and nothing happens and i don´t get the activation button i was supposed to get.

I already tried it at IE and even cleared my cache and updated Flash.
I deactivated the plugins and even that didn´t work...

    Any suggestions?

Well... i renamed the "default" folder to "default_copy" and renamed the theme i wanted to activate to "default"...

It´s working but it didn´t solve the fact i can´t activate themes thru the administration panel. But it´s a nice workaround...

Please update your wordpress to new last version.. if not working yet upload a basic free theme your themes folder and try this one or try the default theme previewing.
