Cannot access the HOME link on the nav bar
-
We successfully launched a static website (many, many thanks to all of you for your support) at http://www.csi-expertise.com/ using the Black Globe theme.
I noticed that the initial link to the HOME link on the nav bar is the sample post that is provided when you first install WordPress. If I deleted that post, I had no access to the content that displays for the HOME link. Purely, by default, our home page is actually the default first post.
When I deleted it and created a new page labeled as HOME, then 2 home page links appeared on the nav bar and I had no way that I could see to modify or remove the first HOME (post) link.
Can anyone tell me how to get rid of this post and replace it with a HOME page, not post? We also want to change the link label from HOME to whatever language translations we’ll add.
Thanks!
