Cannot access my dashboard or my website after new wordpress update

    Hi,

    I can no longer access my website http://www.sandyarmitage.co.uk (shows up as a blank page) and I cannot enter into the dashboard either. I had just tried to update to a newer version of wordpress and it happened.

    I have been told that the error log reads the following;-

    PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare has_shortcode() (previously declared in /content/sites/s/a/sandyarmitage.co.uk/web/wp-includes/shortcodes.php:153) in /content/sites/s/a/sandyarmitage.co.uk/web/wp-content/themes/showycase/functions.php on line 251

    I have no idea what this means.
    Any ideas for how I might be able to get back into my dashboard and get my site back online would be greatly appreciated.

    Can you acces your site via FTP? If so, try renaming your theme folder from wp-content/themes/showycase to wp-content/themes/showycase_hold
