I have a blog http://www.spiritfreed.com. This was built using RapidWeaver. I decided to migrate to WordPress and spent several weeks porting my content to WordPress. The new blog is hosted on GoDaddy and had a URL of http://www.spiritfreed.com/wordpress. The admin was http://www.spiritfreed.com/wordpress/wp-admin. A few days ago I changed the path of the URL and admin to be http://www.spiritfreed.com and http://www.spiritfreed.com/wp-admin respectively. I did this because I wanted the URL for my blog to be http://www.spiritfreed.com and not http://www.spiritfreed.com/wordpress.

As a result of the changes I made I am now unable to access and log into my blog on WordPress. This is the error message I get:

    "Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was
    unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, support@supportwebsite.com
and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log."

Please let me know how I can log into my account to fix the URL and
    Admin URL.

    Thanks,
    Peter

    " Edit wp-config.php

It should be possible to fix the site URL using a new feature -

Add these two lines to your wp-config.php, where "example.com" is the NEW location of your site. "

    define('WP_HOME','http://example.com');
    define('WP_SITEURL','http://example.com');"

How do I edit the wp-config?

    Where is that located?

wp-config.php is in the directory where you have WP installed

Download the file from your server, edit it, and upload via FTP (Filezilla is a good one, if you don't have an FTP client)

also, see this video tutorial for a fix via phpMyAdmin

Thanks the video was very helpful. I was able to make the necessary changes via phpMyAdmin - however all my sub-pages are still broken. The blog homepage loads fine now, but I can't access the sub-page content. Go to http://www.spiritfreed.com/wordpress to see what I mean.

Any thoughts on what change I need to make (via phpMyAdmin or otherwise) to get the sub-page content loading properly would be great to know.

    Thanks,
    Peter
