• Hello,
About a week ago I could not move/edit and of the widgets in the widgets admin page. I found a ‘solution’ on a support forum to add ?widgets-access=on at the end of the url. Well that was a success, I could then edit my widgets. I was able to login and access the admin dashboard until today when this message occufred:

    ?widgets-access=on
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/53/8522853/html/wp-content/themes/GrungeMag/includes/widgets.php:5) in /home/content/53/8522853/html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 866

If there is any way to cancel the ?widgets-access=on that would be great, or a way to reroute me back to the admin dashboard, that would be excellent. The website is occupybillingsmt.org

    Thank you!
    Emily

  • Try:
    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.

Hey esmi, thanks for the response.
Do you know of any way to edit the wp-admin or wp-content through FTP without having to revert back to the old version of wordpress, as I am worried about losing the content on the site…

    thanks!
    Em

Please re-read the steps I posted above.
