Can you use Duplicator to back-up your live website?

    Hi
    I used this great plugin to move my website from a local server to a live server.

    What’s the best procedure going forward? For example: I will update contents and styles on the live server. How can I back up the whole site and restore it if necessary?

    Also, can this plugin be used to reverse the process? i.e. transfer the website from live server to local?

    Hey Andres88,

    You can use it to move your site in any direction, however I personally would not use it for smaller changes that you can easily FTP up to your server. You can use it as a backup, however the files (the installer and archive) should probably be stored off your server once you create them…
