can you restore deleted posts to original dates?

    I impulsively deleted almost every blog post I made in 2009 and I would like to restore them. I have everything saved to a document on my computer so the text is not lost. The problem is that if I post them now it will be under today’s date and I need them to appear as posted on the dates I originally posted them.

    Is there any way to alter the date on the posts so they appear to have been posted all throughout last year?

    in ‘admin’ ‘post’ ‘edit’ in the box where you press ‘publish’ or ‘update’ there is the line with ‘published on…’ with a small edit link to the right. click that and edit the date 😉
