Hi everyone,
I am trying to use WordPress as a CMS and need to know...Can you have more than one updatable section in a page?
That is , not updatable by pulling in blog posts or comments but normal non-blog site content?
Many thanks for any help.

Blog posts are just a type of content. As are pages, and now there are custom post types. You can have any page pretty much pull in any content in any manner.
A combination of page content, post content, post types, specific categoies, specific tags, etc.
Hi Voodoo, yes exactly, blog posts are a type of content and I'm refering to content that isn't a blog post related.
What tag(s) would I use to pull it in, and can I have 2 seperately maintained sections within one page.
For example I want to be able to define a template that has 2 section in it called say "upperSection" and "lowerSection" and have the text and image content of these seperately updateable by the end user via the admin area.
I want this, too! I just came upon this plugin, that does exactly what you asked for, and more.

"Multiple content blocks" is included, though it is also available as a separate plugin.

Still testing it myself, but seems to work great with WP 3.0.1
Hi Kchayka,
Thanks for posting, that sounds just what I am looking for!
