   I just want square thumbnails but in WP gallery you can click an overlay tool that will move the position of that the thumbnail is selecting in the entire picture - not a big issue, just wondered.

   That's fair enough. There's only the odd time when say, top left or bottom right might be preferred if there's something more important in the image in that area (like text), even if it's a thumbnail. Might be something to include in future but it's not going to keep me from using WPPA!

   It will not going to be possible because there are situations ( e.g. increasing the popup size or thumbnail size ) where all thumbnails are regenerated automaticly, and we are not going to remember what the crop coordinates were...
