    Hi,

Thanks for adding in the new bootstrap v3 in the plugin. But my site is still all in v2 so I can’t really upgrade. Can you include back all the v2 as an option in the dropdown? This way we can switch between the two when we redesign the whole site.
In addition, I want to suggest to add a new feature that can pick different bootstrap versions per page. This way we can develop the new page while still keeping the old site up and running.

    Thank you.

That’s an interesting option, with different versions per page. Not probably something that this plugin will cater for as that’s quite complicated and will need a fair bit of development.

When Bootstrap upgraded to v2.0 from v1.0 I kept both versions but it was quite complex to do that with supporting all the shortcodes… that’s the really hard part – supporting shortcode in 2 different bootstrap versions.

If I can work out a way to do that easily I will, but for now, you’re best to downgrade until I could get that developed.
    Sorry…

Thanks for the explanation and no need to be sorry. Your plugin is awesome none-the-less. I haven’t thought about the shortcode issue. I’m not advanced enough to understand how shortcodes developement works but I did find your hlt-bootstrap-shrotcodes.php file, is there a way to redirect to shortcodes-v2.php and shorcodes-v3.php depending on the dropdown option? I’m sure you already thought about these solutions back when v1>v2 upgrade was happening, so ignore my ignorance. =)

For the time being, how would I go about downgrading to the older version?

The best way to downgrade is:

    – ensure the checkbox is NOT checked that says to delete settings upon plugin deactivation.
    – deactivate and then remove the plugin.
    – download the latest v2.3.2 version of the plugin as a zip: http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/wordpress-bootstrap-css.2.3.2-2.zip
    – Go to the Add New plugin section of your WordPress site and click on “upload”.
    – upload that zip.

You should be then good to go as before with your setting retained.

I’ll have a think today on this shortcodes issue and get back to you if I think it’s practical.
    Cheers,
    Paul.

    Hey,

Just to let you know, while it took some effort to get there, the plugin v3.0.0-3 now supports both v2 and v3 of Bootstrap library. You’ll be able, at least for the foreseeable future keep updating and still retain v2.3.2 of the Bootstrap library 🙂

Hope it works okay for you! Please let me know if you see anything now going accordingly to plan 🙂

    Thanks,
    Paul.
