   Hi,

   I'm currently working on a free classifieds WP site, and I'm planning to convert it to WPMS (1 wp per major category). Can WordPress Multi-site handle multiple high traffic sub-sites? If not, any suggestion on what should I do?

   Sorry for my ignorance, I'm basically a WP noobie.

   WordPress Multisite is what's running on WordPress.com so ... yes. :)

   And it's getting faster every iteration (3.5 has some nice looking features). If your server is good, your caching is aces, and your memory sufficient, you're fine.

   will wordpress multisite work well on windows server i mean windows hosting too?

   @pawanarora: Although I haven't tried it, I believe WordPress Multi-site still works well on Windows Server.
