I have heard great things about WordPress.

I am planning to make a blog similar to this site:

    http://www.ibankcoin.com/

It will not be about stock trading but the basic principal is the same. There are several bloggers under one roof.

    1) Each will post their blogs under 1 tab of his/her own. At the back end, they will only have access to post blogs under that tab, check comments, messages from the visitors.

    2) Each blogger's tab should behave similar to yahoo 360 page:

    http://fr.360.yahoo.com/profile-d0TjVLUjdKtcX6W3iRI7gks-

They can have 1,2,3 of their photos and a shoutbox on the left column, Blogging in the middle column, photo album and FANCLUB (like registered users can follow him sth like that)

    3) Not sure if this is even possible. Ability to transfer exisiting blogs from yahoo360 to wordpress database

    3) There will be a chatbox on the right hand side of the front page allowing all visitors to chat with each other.

    4) Embed youtube video anywhere on the site

    5) Rating for each post and each comment.

    6) There will be a separate tab just for the users. Some sort of visitors interaction like creating their own profiles, message each others, post their own photos, others can see, comment and rate on the photos.

    7) Forum, just like this one would be awesome. Is it an add on widget or third party forum addon?

    8) Display and write unicode, other languages like vietnamese, chinese. This is important.

    8) Last but not least and most importantly, Advertising like adsense, banners...

If someone could let me know if wordpress can meet my functionality requirements for the site, I would really appreciate. Even better if you could tell me what widgets can accommodate which point.

    Thank you the wordpress community

Thanks for the reply. That is more like wordpress.com. I will have about 4,5 bloggers on my site, each will have their own tab and post their own blogs there. If you look at this site,

    http://www.ibankcoin.com/

I think they use wordpress for that site, you can see there are several blogers, The Fly, Alpha, Danny, Woodshedder.... each has their own tab, all under one site. Can wordpress create several users with privileges of posting to certain section of the site?

    Thanks,

They're using separate installs of WP in subdirectories it appears to me, which is an administrative nightmare.

You can use WPMU and have your own base site as the main site and links to the other blogs on there, all sharing the same design, plugins, etc. It seems a more elegant solution.

... each will have their own tab and post their own blogs...

This is what WPMU was designed to do, for crissakes. But what do I know, you've got your mind made up. Cya.
