• One thing I can’t figure out how to do is make the main blog page static.

I’ve made my blog’s main page the home page of my domain, but every time I post something, the newest posting appears on my front page…then I go edit the date field to get around the problem, but then the dates on all my postings are not right.

I must be overlooking something, can someone help?

Nope, this plugin (static-front) won’t accomplish what I need–my page with the home slug is already on my home page.

    I’ll re-word what I’m looking for:

I want to suppress the automatic posting of all post to the page with the ‘home’ slug. When I create a post, I want it to ONLY apear in the category that I select. How do I do this?
