  • Have been asked to produce a site on the same lines as this:

    http://www.windows7inside.de

Simple question… can this all be done within WordPress.

    Queries I have are:

The site is a mixture of posts and downloads. How easily can PDFs be managed as downloads (and plug-in recommendations welcome)

There is a log-in feature to access certain content… links and downloads for example. How can these be protected? I want the posts visible to non-registered users but the secondary link, or downloads needs to be accessible only to registered users.

There is a keyword archive ‘Suchwortverzeichnis’. Am struggling figure out how to do this as most archive plug-ins only seem to work on dates rather than categories, unless I’m missing something. Clicking on links here will bring up maybe 2 or 3 links to PDF files… I guess this would have to be worked out under post categories.

Is it possible to have a single password for all users? Client wants a single monthly password that will be emailed to all users in order to access protected content.

    Anyone?

Would a simple password to appropriate content work? Can I apply a single password to whole sections of the site so that when a person logs in with that password ALL of the password protected content will be visible?
