Can Themes be merged?

I am using WP theme Techline in a blog as a test at a badminton site i run at http://www.singlesleague.co.uk/blog

As i said i like the Techline theme after some modifications but i dont like the open non contained post approach and would like to use the post box in the theme Bloxy-two at http://www.singlesleague.co.uk/testblog and im not managing at all 🙁

Is there a way to merge the post box and icons etc from one theme into another to have the best of both worlds?
