I downloaded the theme v1.4.1 but could not find any .pot file.
Can the theme be localized?
Furthermore, is there a .psd available?

Translation strings have been added, using the textdomain "adventure-journal"; but no translation files are included.

Hi Chip,
I was thinking more like the standard route,
Like a .pot and a .po file so everyone can benefit....Do you know if there are any plans for that?
After all it is channeled to be an international kind of theme.Share your adventures with the world.

You should contact the developer, and inquire as to his intent - or, if you are so inclined, offer to create the .pot/.po files necessary.

I can offer to translate but no matter how inclined I may be I wouldn't be able to provide the .pot/.po files necessary.
And actually I thought it should be the authors reading these posts about their themes. That's the whole idea of these support forums in the first place. Anyway....

Some Theme developers do; some don't. We don't require Theme developers to provide support via the support forums as a condition of hosting Themes in the Repository (and it wouldn't be feasible to require, either).
If I'm not mistaken, I *have* seen the developer of the Adventure Journal Theme here in the forums - if so, then there is a good chance he'll see this thread.
(And if not, you could always try to contact him through his website?)

And, in all fairness, some theme developers operate their own support forums - which are likely to be a lot less crowded than here. :-)

I just took a look at the repo and yup, the pot file isn't there. Apparently I generated it, checked it off the task list, and never actually moved it to the languages folder. Sorry, this was a complete oversight on my part.
I'll be absolutely sure to include it in the next release.
As an aside, we had planned to have AJ 1.5 out earlier this week, but got slammed with some 11th hour client stuff (and paying work always has to take precedence over our open-source projects).
P.S. I subscribe to the 'adventure-journal' tag on the forum, so I get an email any time someone posts an AJ-related question here. ;-)

1.5 is now available on WordPress.org. The pot file *is* included in this version, too. ;-)
