• First: I’ve found poll coding and software. But I’ve never seen anything quite like this below. It allows you to put multiple questions and users to pick answers, then calculates and posts the results: (right hand bar: thefans top25, and below you can see where you can pick):

    Second: You’ll have to croll down some on the right, it’s a box that has “Recent | Comments | Popular | Tags”. I’m guessing thats a plugin that compiles other plugins, but can someone help me with it?

  • Search for polling plugins and look at the demos. Look at the source code of knightnews; it’s built on WordPress.

    Actually… the comments/popular/tags… are standard widgets inside 4 different divs which display property are switched on rollover with smple css.
    The star there is css, not plugins.

    You’re right; lots of functionality – like tags, popular stuff, etc. – are handled by default widgets. I never use them myself. Guess I should be aware of what the other half uses.
