  • First, please do not post multiple threads on the same subject.

Regarding your issue, the problem is that you are using a theme that has a flexible center column with a narrow image.

So on monitors with wider displays (1280x 1024 here), the content column is expanding wider than the image.

You may try adding some CSS to the header image, margin:0 auto; to see if it automatically centers if the container is wider than the image.

sorry MIke but I didn’t realise I was limited to how many times I could post. My first post today was for help with script..I didn’t hear anything, in the meantime I fixed it another way and just wanted someone to see if it looked ok on their monitor. Is it that I should have posted that on the thread about the centering? I never thought of it…Next time I will do that..again, apologies..thanks for your advice I tried that css..It shot my header all the way the left..sigh..

I assumed by the title of this thread, http://wordpress.org/support/topic/98186?replies=1

that it was the same as this thread. If the two are unrelated, then my apologies.

My only real suggestion is to take the image and make it wider, with some kind of filler. As the page narrows, the filler should be hidden. But that’s a caveat of using a flexible width design.
