Edit your current theme’s comments.php file for this job. Or maybe the single.php file, as it depends on your theme.
Hi Hitman22
It’s almost impossible to provide you with help with the information you have (or have not) provided. Please be more specific – might be worthwhile reading the forum welcome – http://codex.wordpress.org/Forum_Welcome
where is my current theme’s comments.php file ??? so I can edit it?
Hi,
If you don’t have FTP or shell access, log into your WordPress and go to Appearance -> Editor. From there, your theme’s files are listed on the right hand side. Click on the comments.php file and you will see the code. Don’t remove anything if you don’t know what it does. If you don’t know PHP, I would CTRL + F on the comments.php page for the words you are trying to replace e.g. “Leave a comment” and CHANGE ONLY THAT.
McWebDev,
Under Appearance I do not have a place to edit. Under appearance I have themes, customize, widgets, menus, theme options, customize and background..
Please advise..
Is this a multi-site? The editor is under the Network Dashboard in that case.
McWebDev,
I do not have Network on my dashboard. Do I need a plug in or jetpack??
Please advise
