Can somebody tell me how a page is rendered and its links

    I am having a lot of issues with wordpress right from the installation stage, solved the undefined index in wp-settings.php

    Now install issue solved, but all my links r broken, comes up like http://www.domain.com/?page_id=2

    can somebody tell me which function is responsible for rendering the links, i can even hardcode the part index.php into the url and pass it across, this is eating my head for the last 2 days.

    i guess i have resolved it, the issue was with the Home URL and site URL that was set incorrectly, now it seems to work fine
