I have a site directory and a database .sql file sent to me and requested to get uploaded to a new site for a mate.
I have confirmed that wordpress is compatible with my host.
I have uploaded and tested a clean instal of WordPress on the host.
I have successfully uploaded the the .sql database i was given and excecuted the queries to mySql via importing.
I have uploaded the site back up in many forms ( in a sub directory called wordpress, in the site root directory etc).
Changed the config file to include the correct database settings.
However, the best i can get is the site to display the homepage and text without format and the links just go nowhere?
Im at a loss ive read so much and tried so much im getting a bit lost where to start now?
Any suggestions/questions. Site: http://198.66.225.32/ will be doing DNS when this is working.
Help required!!!!!

The site was created in WordPress 2.8 and in the new instal i have used 2.9.2. does this matter?

UPDATE****
So Close now.
Ok so i have done a change to the config file to show site url and home url and now the site has formatting etc.
However now i have 2 pages where the information is still trying to pull from localhost and not http//site name?
When i go to these pages the formatting is correct but the pics and pdf download if you right click them and look at properties they still read source localhost/.....
These are the only 2 pages doing it now.
Site stil viewable at the above address ip given.
How would i change the rest i have tried changing the wp_options table so the site url in there also reflects the site address and not localhost/wordpress.
Any help appreciated.

unfortunately on localhost moves, some things are hard coded and need replacement
do it quickly with this
