Can posts be made invisible on the weblog?

I wonder if it is possible to prevent a particular post from showing up on the weblog or in the archives and yet make it accessible by using its permalink.
For example, I write a post about myself and want to use it as an ‘About Me’ link on the weblog, but at the same time, I do not wish to show this particular post on the weblog or in the archives. Sort of like making the post ‘private’ but at the same time, making it viewable by accessing its permalink URI.
Just wondering! 🙂
