• First I would like to thank you for this fantastic plugin!

We used for a Website about the Nazi Takeover in 1933: http://wegmarken.inforadio.de It works really well. Theres only one thing that is a bit annoying. If you open a popup, the map moves a bit. Then it can happen, that some of the markers aren’t visible anymore.

Now I’d like to know if its possible to open the Maps Marker Popups centered in the middle of the map. Then I could fix the map via dragging=false in the interaction settings.

    Thanks for your answer.

  • thanks for your feedback (I’d appreciate your review at http://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/leaflet-maps-marker even more 😉

regarding your question about popups: you could set autopan in settings / map defaults / default values for marker popup to false but I guess that is not what you want.
The only way how to improve this behaviour I can think of currently is to make the layer map higher – but of course that would also be a compromise…

This is a great plugin, but I have three questions.

    1. I developed my WordPress site using a different domain name in order to preserved the original site while I created the new one. Now that it is pointing to the new domain name, I noticed in settings, it still points to the old one. It won’t let me edit it even though I’m logged in as admin. Is there a way to fix this, or do I need to delete it, reinstall it, and then recreate my maps from scratch?

    2. I have tried everything to force my maps to center on the page, but WordPress ignores my css. Is there a setting on the maps that I’m not seeing that could force it to center? The +/- controls are showing on top of my css flyout submenus.

    3. Is there a “pro” version?

    Thank-you in advance
    JP

    Hi JP,
ad 1) if you transfer the two tables (wp_leafletmapsmarker*) you should be fine
ad 2) try adding margin: 0 auto; to class mapsmarker
ad 3) yes – v1.0 will be released on 22nd of July (see mapsmarker.com/news for more details)
    best,
    Robert
