Can not view images

Hi ! My name is Robert and i’m new to wordpress and this technology in general , but i wanted to build my own website after viewing a few tyler moore videos on youtube.Right from the start i’ve got a problem whoo’se answer i can’t find anywhere.
I just can’t view pictures , like the ones in themes , headers and things like that.i have no problems with uploaded images , those i can see ,and on some themes headers work too ( like tonic theme) , but in general , on themes like twenty fourteen or blackbird , i can’t view it.it’s verry frustrating so , can someone please help me ? Thank you ! and excuse my english

Hi robert33,

Can you be more specific with your problem? Do you mean that the pictures you upload via WP-admin backend are not showing up on your site? Or do you mean that the images in your header, other areas do not appear?

i mean the images in the header and other areas.
the website is r-designs.ro
i’ve tried getting rid of the plugins that i had and deleted cache/cookies
i’ve reinstalled wordpress but nothing so far.

Where are you adding these images? In the content area? Under the Custom Header option?

i’m not.i’m talking about the default theme images , for example blackbird.i changed the theme but not one image on the website

so , as you can see by entering my website ( r-designs.ro ) , there are no theme images showing , and if i go to theme options and change the images ,they still don’t show up

So, you are no seeing the images in content area. I took a look at your site, i can’t see any images.

What to do now:

1) Clear your cache and check it.

2) Update WordPress to the latest version.

3) Use Customize option and change your header image.

Do you have a url for an image not showing up? You actually have images showing up. The large quote, the cell phone, the icons at the bottom of the page.

i know about those , but i think there should be some more (may 3 or 4 at the middle of the page and the header , and a logo at the top left corner) images showing up , and i tried replacing the default theme ones but they still don’t show up.do you mean the url for the image that i have replaced the default ones with ?

I can only see one missing image when I load the page. That’s supposed to be blackbird/images/bg.jpg but it’s missing. I can see lots of other images in that directory because you have directory indexing turned on at server level. You might want to turn that off.
