Can not publish or update

    This sounds like it could be a Javascript conflict causing the Publish button to not work correctly.

    Can you test with all other plugins deactivated and while running the default WordPress theme?

    I have checked the install for Nowton, and even with all other plugins disabled after some time .. an ajax call is triggered and the submit button is disabled. Tried it on the webserver as well as on localhost.

    have you tried to temporarily revert back to default wordpress theme ?
