    HI,

I am unable to navigate my WP site. Only the front page is visible. I can't even add comments nor can the users that have access to the site. This started sometime after upgrading to 2.3.1.

The only errors I see that may be related to WP:

1.) Failed loading /home/username/ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin_4.3.so: /home/username/ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin_4.3.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

    2.) [Fri Dec 21 07:47:09 2007] [error] [client ????????? ] File does not exist: /home/phoserga/public_html/wp-content/themes/mushblue-10/.images/comments.gif

3.) [Fri Dec 21 08:15:55 2007] [error] [client ?????????] mod_rewrite: maximum number of internal redirects reached. Assuming configuration error. Use 'RewriteOptions MaxRedirects' to increase the limit if neccessary. (This error showed up while attempting to nav from within the admin area.)

No PHP errors are being reported.

I just updated/reorganized, my categories but they were not updated on the front page either. The problem existed prior to this reorg.

Really odd, I am not even able to navigate to the next page of entries/blogs from the front page. Adding blogs is working fine. I can filter blogs in the admin area, I can even filter the various pages but I am not able to view any of the entries. When I click on the 'view' link for a any of the entries all I get is the front page. (Again this is even in the admin area.)

    Any insight would be great!
    Philip

From the first line, I'd say it was a problem with ioncude actually. That's a program that encrypts php files so that they're not readable or editable by us humans.

You're not using a plugin or theme that contains text that would look like random numbers and letters by any chance, are you? That would be the encrypted php code.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the response.

The currently active theme is called mushblue and can be found here.

Looking over the php files for this theme all appears fine to me. I changed the header graphic. This theme has been working as well. I have several others which I have activated and each are acting the same.

The only active plugin I have active is podpress, which I just activated about 30 minutes ago.

    Hi,

    This has been fixed!

It was a permalink issue. The default stopped working for some reason. I changed to using 'Numeric'. Now I had to manually add the required .htaccess text but once this was done all started to work correctly.

The errors I was seeing, as posted earlier, no longer show up.

    Philip
