• Hello there,

    I browsed through the forum extensively to check how to get rid of author name etc. from pages. Someone suggested to delete a one line code in singlepost file. However, the only files I am having in the theme I am using are comments, footer, function, header, index and sidebar.
    Any suggestions on how to make a page as a truly static pages by getting rid of unnecessary wording and code?

    Thanks in advance for your help.

    Thank you for the reply. I am sure it will be a big help. However, there is one issue with that. If I delete all references to comments etc. the blog will also stop showing comments area. Any advice on that?

    Thanks again.

    In index.php, remove the template tag the_author();

    Just remove the tags I listed from page.php.
