Hey,
Like all the other plugins, if you remove a plugin from Plugins Tab, it will not appear anymore.
If you add shortcodes in your posts then you have to remove them because a plugin should not be allowed to remote text from your posts.

I haven’t added any short codes. I installed the plug-in, deactivated, it and removed it. Here is my site http://www.doitlikedad.com the author box is still there even with all plugin information removed.
If it can’t be removed, then I will use this plugin. The reason I got rid of it, is it wasn’t displaying social media links in author box (it will on the preview, but not on the actual page).
If you inform me how to do one or the other it would be helpful.
I may not be looking at the plugin author box. I believe I have activated the default author box giving me two author boxes and I can’t get rid of the default.

What I see is the Fancier Author Box plugin and not Starbox.
