Hi there, a few days ago I stopped being able to view drafts on WordPress. Both my own articles and the other users also.

I get either a 404 not found page on the site or I get a "you don't have permission" messages from wordpress even though I have Admin status. the other users haven't reported any issues of this nature.

please help, it's kind of eating into both my and my editor's work scheduals if I can't see how things look and she has to spend time fixing it up Visually as well.

    cheers

    Have you tried:

    - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    - switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    - re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

I have not, mainly because I'm not the technical person and am just an additional admin for the site at the moment I don't want to mess with the setting.

But i'll copy this to the technical guy to see if he can do those.

However as additional I have found the problem seems to be between the admin screen and the website (after clicking preview) it is logging me out then trying to show me the page which of course it cant since I don't have the permissions while not logged in.

I have cleared my cookies/cache/ect to see if this helps

99.9% of the time, this is a theme or plugins issue.
