Can List But Can't Edit Custom Post Types (1 post)

Hi, I've used the Custom Post Type UI plugin to create a custom post type called "listings" to hold information about properties for sale. I want to allow RegionalAdmins for the various states to add and edit any of the listings. I installed the Members plugin and gave both Admin and the RegionalAdmin all of the capabilities (edit_listings, delete_listings, etc.) related to listings. The Listing menu item shows up as it should with an Add Listing option in both user roles. I can see the list of lisings in the admin section, however, I can't edit existing Listings and I can't create new ones. I get the following error, "You are not allowed to edit this post." when I try to add a new listing. The Admin at least should be allowed to edit posts since that capability is set for it.

The one thing that might be the issue is the capability type on the custom post type. I have it set to "listing" with out an "s" but my capability types all end in "_listings". Should that matter?

Any other suggestions of what I should do to solve this problem?

    Thanks!
