Can I view revision history for a post? I read an old post that said it was an otpion under 'Screen Options'. I don't see a 'revisions' checkbox under Screen Options, nor do I see a revisions link in the Publish control group. Help?

Which version of WordPress (dot org) are you using? To verify, you could scan your site here:

    Or check at:

Hi. Sites hosted on WordPress.com have revision control support built in:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/page-revisions/

but I don't believe this is a standard feature with self-hosted WordPress sites. You can use a plugin like this one:

    http://wordpress.org/plugins/revision-control/

    to add revision history.

Actually, I am quite confident that @ WPORG sites one can see post/page revision history (if at the proper+ version).

If a WPORG user does not, they are likely using a quite outdated version of WPORG.

Post revisions are available in self-hosted WordPress. By default they are enabled with an unlimited number of revisions to be saved for each post. You can adjust the settings for revisions in wp-config.php.

(Oops, sorry for the outdated/incorrect info, thanks for clarifying.)

    No worries :-)

The plugin you linked to actually makes use of the native revision control system, but adds some more fine-grained control to the user from within the WordPress interface, so it's useful to have.

Google is our friend, but I suggest the following when using it to search for timely content:

site:wordpress.org "term(s)" and then look again at the search and apply a date filter such as 'Past Year' (search tools)...there are other search engines.
